-Increase temperature 10-15°F or reduce speed 10-15 FPM
Paper wrinkles
-Check alignment of board in feed
-Check tension of paper
-Tighten drive chain
-Change roll position to determine if wrinkle follows roll
-Check for excessive heat
-Laminating roller may be ground unevenly
-Change bearings
-Infeed conveyor not level
Laminating roller has uneven heat from side to side
-Change oil
-Check for burned out heaters
Spotty lamination on particleboard or MDF
-Increase nip pressure
-Verify uniformity of pressure
-Check board uniformity
-Reduce speed
Moisture bubbles on 1/8" and 1/4" board
-Increase pressure
-Reduce speed
-Fold board to verify quality
