 American Adhesive Coatings Company also known as "AACC" was founded in 1987. The company is privately owned by E.A. (Ted) Krug, President/Technical Director and Jerry Villa, Vice President Sales/Corporate Treasurer. American Adhesive Coatings Company is our parent company and sells hot melt adhesive coated products. North American Coating Sciences, a wholly owned subsidiary, sells hot melt adhesive products in 50 pound corrugated boxes and 55 gallon fibre drums. North American Coating Sciences also creates custom formulations for special applications.Our mission is to provide the best possible service and quality to our customers at a competitive price. While it is always easier to say this than actually do it, we have been successful at meeting these goals for over 15 years. Our employees are another key to our success. As a medium-sized company, we still maintain a family friendly atmosphere. One exception is the high level of competition at the horse-shoe throwing matches during our annual company Labor Day picnic. The winners' names are engraved on a plaque that hangs in a prominent spot in our plant. We take pride in our low level of employee turnover. Our employees have a 401(k) plan, full medical coverage, and multi-week vacations based on the number of years employed. The products we manufacture are hot melt adhesives that are 100% solid at room temperature and become liquid upon heating, generally at 275 - 375 degrees F. Our hot melts are non-hazardous and do not harm the environment. We also coat rolled substrates such as plain and printed paper, plastic films and aluminum foils. In 2000 we upgraded our vertical adhesive mixers and reactors to a twin-screw mixer extruder and stainless steel belt to produce a pastille product. Excess capacity allows us to toll manufacture for other adhesive companies. We also develop or assist in developing adhesive formulations that we mix for some of our private label customers. Our sales force is a combination of company employees and outside independent sales agents. With our increase in production capacity, we are now seeking experienced adhesive sales agents.
